He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Mumert Brunkow and Carl Brunkow; his nephew Dawson Brunkow; and his in-laws, Johanna, Vincent Bukaty, Jim Bukaty and Joni Bukaty.
He is survived by: his wife Christine (Tina); his daughter Meredith; his siblings, Larry Brunkow (Diana) and Jean Wegner (Ron); and his sisters-in-law, Barbara Laskowski (Randy) and Ann Marie Greenway (Paul).
