With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janice Sue Davis of Kearney, Missouri, who passed away on October 31, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Janice departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Janice may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Janice leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her sister Zora Lee Spencer; and her parents, Lee R. Spencer and Zora Elizabeth Spencer. She is survived by: her husband Leonard E. Davis; and her children, Shelly Davis, Nick Ream, Chuck Ream, Zora Kreissler and Spencer Davis. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Floral Hills Funeral Home and Cemetery (7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64133). A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
