She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Dalton and Adna Mae Dalton (Swink); her former husband Melvin David Simpson; and her parents-in-law, Thomas, Eleanore Carder, John and Margaret Allen.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas Evoy Carder III; her children, Brian Simpson (Misty) of Kansas City, MO, Brandon Simpson (Jancy) of Olathe, KS and Naomi "Niki" Larrea (Juan) of Kansas City, MO; her grandchildren, Bianca, Kayla, Emilio, Lacey, Tenley and Tyler; her sister Glenda Vennatta (Melvin) of Galena, KS; and her siblings-in-law, Annetta Trammell, Becky Smith, Sally Johnson, Dinah Glaze, Willie Simpson, Kathy Hamer, Cheryl Wilder, Kathy Thompson, Nancy Jones, Patty Rake, Brad Bamman and Bill Bamman.
