It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kamen Paul Dowl of Kearney, Missouri, born in Pekin, Illinois, who passed away on October 10, 2021, at the age of 45, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Paul Dowl Sr., Glenna Milton, Raymond and Anna Layne; and his siblings, Michelle Dowl, Bert Dowl and Paul Dowl III.

He is survived by: his children, Lindy Rothwell, Alexis Dowl, Ashton Stone (Glen), Aubree Dowl, Kamen P. Dowl Jr., Jaden Thompson, Dayton Dowl and Mason Dowl; his grandchildren, Aiden Vick, Vincent Vick, Delaney Murray, Greyson Brophy, Graham Brophy, Adeline Niehouse, Kenny Stone and Kaiden Stone; his parents, Paul Glenn Dowl Jr. and Debra Layne Dowl; and his siblings, Debbie L. Johnson of Rochester, NY, Lotilta Smith (Kevin) of Canton, MS, Paulette Swedenburg (Jimmy) of Columbus, MS, Karma Johnson of Warrensburg, MO and Kamdan Dowl (Holly) of Kansas City, MO. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

“I just found out about Kamen's passing. I'm so sorry for your loss Kamen was a good friend of mine he would always tease me and say maybe just maybe we're soulmates because we share the same Birthday and so do our son's, and I would say it takes alot more than that to be soulmates but none the less he was a great friend and will be missed by so many and to Aubree and Mason your daddy loved you so much ... My heart is breaking right now I wish I would have known sooner..... God bless his parents”

“My name is Rodney Soptic and I am the president of our resident Council at Riverside nursing and rehab, sending out thoughts and prayers to all those who knew Kamen. I didn't know him well, except for his bravery in which he had to face and prepare for. He was always kind and positive. He will be missed by all and may he rest in peace. God bless everyone in this horrible tragedy, especially for the children who lost a grandfather, father and friend.”
