He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ellison and Mary Ellison (Gardner); his brother Billy Ellison; his son Kurt Ellison; and his grandchildren, Britni and Zachary Greene.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellison of Kearney, MO; his daughters, Terri Greene (Jeff) of Tatum, TX, Kelly Thuston (Windy) of Kearney, MO and Shelly Berry (TJ) of Kearney, MO; and his grandchildren, Brent Thuston (Courtney) of Kearney, MO, Gabbi Thompson (Jeremy) of Excelsior Springs, MO, Alex Berry of Kearney, MO, Dr. Sami Stokes (Paul) of Kearney, MO, Brooke Callahan (Harper) of Saratoga Springs, NY, Kyle Ellison of Columbia, MO, Monica Kixmiller (Ty) of Grain Valley, MO and Hunter Greene of Excelsior Springs.
