As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Lois may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thomas and Iva Thomas; her husband Art Haney; her daughter Deanna Haney; and her sister Jane Ray Bartlett.
She is survived by: her daughter Mindy Easter (Carl Cleavenger); her grandson Steven (Racilyn Davis); and her great grandchild Sofia Davis. She is also survived by eight nieces.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Fry-Bross & Spidle Chapel (208 S Jefferson St, Kearney, MO 64060). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fairview Cemetery (501 N Grove St, Kearney, MO 64060). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at the Fry-Bross & Spidle Chapel (208 S Jefferson St, Kearney, MO 64060).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children or Christian Church of Kearney.
