We announce the death of Macy Dean Way of Kearney, Missouri, who passed away on October 8, 2026, at the age of 63. Macy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Way and Janet Way; and his grandparents, Harold, Irene Way, Dean and Arlene Coy.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Humm (Beth); his brother-in-law Ben; his sons, Andrew and Samuel; and his pets, Otis and Arlo. He is also survived by his 15 brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, 9 nieces and nephews, 5 aunts, a plethora of cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hidden Valley Funeral Home of Kearney (925 State Rte 92, Kearney, MO 64060). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Pratt Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Pratt Cemetery for general maintenance and upkeep.
