She is survived by: her husband Gary Hanssen of Kearney, MO; her children, Brady Hanssen (Lauren) of Southaven, MS, Allison Garrett (Clayton) of Dardenne Prairie, MO and Nicole Allee (Hayden) of Kansas City, MO; her grandchildren, Henrick, Raelynn, Silas, Daphne Hanssen, Gwen and Oliver Garrett; and her siblings, Reggie Bettenhausen (Peggy) of Wishek, ND, Kerry Bettenhausen (Pam) of Venturia, ND, Joel Bettenhausen (Karen) of Boyd, TX, Cordell Bettenhausen (Ann) of Wishek, ND and Linnea Pintur (Jeff) of Waterloo. She is also survived by many other family members, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Kearney (303 S Grove St, Kearney, MO 64060). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mt Olivet Cemetery (209 W 6th St, Kearney, MO 64060).
