He is survived by : his wife Gloria; his children, Vicki (Mike), John (April) and Adam (Allie); his grandchildren, Christopher Kimmel (Stephanie), Zachary Kimmel (Jackie), Ethan Kimmel, Halie Smith (Nathaniel), John V. Edwards, Brianna Fiscus (Cory White), Raelin Fiscus, Aggie Edwards, Atlee Edwards and Alton Edwards; and his great grandchildren, Grace, Annabelle Kimmel, Aliza, Clara Smith and Briggs White.

“Vicki, John & Adam- I'm so sorry to hear about Uncle Vic's passing. He was a great guy. I always looked up to him and had a ton of respect for him. He was always good to me. I can remember when he and Aunt Gloria got married and he became part of our family. I remember him being featured on the cover of Parade Magazine in his full military gear. I was so impressed by that I've carried that image in my mind since childhood. I know you'll miss him. I'll always have fond memories of him.”
