Deon Braggs Obituary
We announce the death of Deon Braggs of Kelso, Missouri, who passed away on October 23, 2026, at the age of 71. Deon will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Deon will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Deon will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Deon’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Braggs and Genevive Braggs (Rumsey). He is survived by: his brother Rick Braggs (Tonya); his nieces, Ashley Howard (Sam) and Brittany Brownlee (Raymond); and his great-nephews, Holden, Bryson and Sawyer.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the East Fork Cemetery (18200 E Fork Rd, West Frankfort, IL 62896).
