He was predeceased by: his son Kevin M. Hinkebein. He is survived by: his spouse JoAnn Theresia Heisserer; his sons, Richard J. "Rick" Hinkebein (Teri) of Charlotte, Darrin A. Hinkebein of Kelso, Amanda, Chris, Cameron and Lance; and his brother Willard Hinkebein (Vivian) of Scott City.
