She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernell Byrd and Nadine Byrd (Vancil); and her husband Jim Blackmon. She is survived by: her nieces, Cindy Byrd Chance and Melissa Byrd of Vero Beach, FL.; her nephew Bart (Brimley) of Medford, OK; and her brother-in-law Gary Blackmon (Jean).
