He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Gene Smith and Sharon Kay Smith (Easley) of Kennett, Missouri.; and his brothers, Christopher Lee and Mark Smith. He is survived by: his wife Melinda Smith (Gattis) of Kennett; his children, Evan Bullock of Holcomb, Derick Turner of Bloomfield, Morgan Bullock of Holcomb and Rachel Campbell of Campbell; his grandsons, Dayton Bader (Morgan) and Oden Campbell (Rachel); and his siblings, Anita Burton of Florida and Larry Smith of Florida.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project (woundedwarriorproject.org) in honor of all those who served their country and were wounded in the line of battle.
