He was predeceased by: his parents, Artie Shelton and Gertie Shelton; his wife Shirley Nell Shelton; his son Steven Lynn Shelton; and his siblings, Burl Shelton, Buell Shelton, Clayborn Shelton, Norman Shelton, Eugene Shelton, Dewey Shelton, Thomas Shelton, Melda Cavaness and Avis Adams.
He is survived by: his daughter Tanera Lee Presson (Dewayne) of Lake St; his daughter-in-law Karen Shelton; his grandchildren, Breanna Lea Batchelor (Aaron), Stephanie Lynn Shelton and Jonathan Edward Presson; his great grandchildren, Breleigh Anna, Reagan Alizabeth, Gentry Aaron Batchelor, Ella Marie and Noah Steven Tlapalamatl; his brothers, Doyne Shelton of Arkansas and Byrone Shelton of Arkansas; and his friend Christian. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
