It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Granville CateJr of Kennett, Missouri, who passed away on June 12, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Granville farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Granville is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Granville Cate, Sr. and Patricia Kilbreath Cate. He is survived by: his wife Vickie Cate of Kennett; his sons, Granville Cate, III of Alaska, Jeremiah Cate of Fort Smith and Connor Cate (Martha) of Jackson; and his brothers, Colon Cate of Poplar Bluff and Camden Cate (Sherry) of Rector.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the McDaniel Funeral Home (115 South Bypass, Kennett, MO 63857).
