She was predeceased by: her parents, William Roy and Exell Grissom Higgins; her husband Darrell Vaughn; her son Michael Higgins; and her brothers, Larry, Earl, Lynn and Jimmy Higgins.
She is survived by: her son Darrell Vaughn, Jr. (Pam) of Senath, MO.; and her siblings, Brenda of Holcomb, MO, Regena of Michigan and George Higgins of Piggott. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 1 great great-grandchild.
