With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Velma Jean Hobbs of Kennett, Missouri, who passed away on May 3, 2022 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her father E. C. Wood; her husband W. R. Hobbs; her brother Charles Wood; and her granddaughter Christie Hobbs. She is survived by : her sons, Steve Hobbs (Faye) and Greg Hobbs; her grandchildren, Dawn Bushee and Shondell Johnson (Jody); and her cousin Carletta Boggs (Leonard). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Slicer Street Church of Christ, 310 Slicer St Kennett, Missouri, 63857.
