It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma Watson of Kennett, Missouri, born in Greenway, Arkansas, who passed away on February 13, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Jacob Carey and Lulu Mae Carey; her husbands, Ben Worley and James "Dud" Watson; and her daughter Billie King.

She is survived by : her children, John Worley (Kathy), Jim Watson (Carol), Dan Keen (Paula), Linda Arnett, Reba Brown (Terry) and Eddie Watson; her grandchildren, Bryan Arnett, Brandy Allison (Jason), Jimmy Williams (Lori), Darrell Watson (Elba), Terry Watson (Dana), Eddie Jr. and Gary Watson; her great grandchildren, Mason, Murphy, Mali Arnett, Emma Gayle, Watson Allison, John Thomas Wofford (Hope), Nash Winters, Paige Gee (Greg), Elisabeth Flores Watson, Jaydyn Watson, Tiffany Patterson (David), Megan Weaver (Anthony), Amber Pirtle (Zeke) and Ashley Watson; and her great great grandchildren, Mattie Kay Wofford, Kamryn, Madilyn, Everett Gee, Kobe, Luke, Dyson, Gunnar Patterson, Laken and Sutton Weaver. She is also survived by Mother, dearly loved by both friends and family.
