Though Bertie may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Charles and Diane Elain Wyss (Dougherty); her brother Albert Wyss Jr.; and her stepson James Watts IV. She is survived by: her children, Weston Charles-Gallos of Kansas City, MO, Michael Watts (Brooklynn Pierce) of Columbia, MO and Kiara Watts of Maryville, MO; her siblings, Brenda Mathews of Keytesville, MO and Arthur Wyss; and her former husband James Watts III.
