He was predeceased by : his parents, Alva L. LaMar and Esther LaMar (Lockard); and his siblings, Alonzo Drake, Cecil Drake and Mary Ann McKinney.

He is survived by : his wife Velda M. Glascock; and his sisters, Margaret Roberts and Marie McKinney.
