She was predeceased by: her parents, Miguel Murgas and Gertrudis Murgas (Rodriguez); and her siblings, Demostenes Murgas, Jorge Murgas, Eustacia Murgas, Amparo Burch and Maria Murgas.
She is survived by: her husband James Hathway; her children, Karl Hathway (Joanne), Pat Hathway-Beezley, Martiza Barnes (Michael) and Christine Foster (Todd); her siblings, Virgilio Murgas (Adela), Martina Murgas VanDuyne, Fernanda Morals and Juana Rubio; and her grandchildren, Tiffany, Janis, Ashley, Emily and Benjamin. She is also survived by six great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Westside Christian Church (537 W Elm St, Republic, MO 65738). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to Westside Christian Church, Missions Fund, Republic, MO.
