She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil L. Smothers and Grace L. Smothers (Smith); her former husband Robert Rainey; her children, Bruce Rainey and Gina Rainey; and her siblings, Evelyn Noland, Gerald Smothers and Arvin Smothers.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Hinkle; her children, Retha Richardson (Cornel), Shiela Howe (Phillip) and Martin Rainey (Angie); her stepchildren, Ron Hinkle (Nancy), Rhonda Whorton (Mitchell) and Rose Ewen (Tony); and her brother Ronald Smothers. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Roberson Funeral Home - King City (101 N Prospect St, King City, MO 64463). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Roberson Funeral Home (101 N Prospect St, King City, MO 64463). A burial was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Berlin Cemetery.
