He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Chester Kirtley and Luella Elizabeth Kirtley (Thornberry); his wife Edythe Laverne Kirtley; his children, Elton Chester Kirtley, Joy Laverne Kirtley and Edgar Larkin Kirtley; and his grandchildren, Sarah, Josiah, Jared, Hannah, John David, Naomi, Anna, Daniel, Beka and Nathan.
Visitation was held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (221 N Grand Ave, King City, MO 64463). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at the Union Star Cemetery.
