He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon "Boone" Stegman and Hattie Stegman; his wife Theodosia Raper-Libeer; and his brothers, Donnie Ray and Harlen Stegman.
He is survived by: his children, James Stegman of Kansas City, MO, Vicki Edwards (Bob) of Tonganoxie, KS and Kevin Stegman (Jill) of Gower, MO; the mother of his children Patricia Dierenfeldt-Kirk of Kansas City, MO; and his children, Eugena Libeer (Lance) of Kansas City, KS and Rachel Sanders of Kansas City, MO. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, as well as many friends.
