He was predeceased by: his former wife Cecilia Smith; his parents, Betty Joyce Smith and James E Smith; and his sisters, Gloria Smith, Diane Pennell and Pam Engel.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Key, Matt Key, Lisa Brown and Sherry Smith; his grandchildren, Dustin Key, Alicia Grohs, Alex Grohs, Andrew Key, Steven Grohs, Gage Smith, Akasha Schmitz, Chase Feltner, Callie Smith and Kolt Smith; and his sister Jackie Haarmann Brenda Giboney. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
