He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Dawson and Rebecca Dawson (Barnes Lloyd); and his siblings, William, Ronald, David Dawson and Mary Jane Phillippe.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Jean Dawson (Harrison); his son Matthew Dawson; his daughter-in-law Wendy; his granddaughter Toebben; his sister Norma Bush; and his sister-in-law Katie Dawson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Maupin Funeral Home - Fulton (301 Douglas Blvd, Fulton, MO 65251). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
