He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolphus Franklin Burton and Evelyn Minon Campbell; and his siblings, Elizabeth Jean "Jeanne" Waight, Johnny Franklin Burton and Sammy Joe Burton.
He is survived by: his wife Cathi Burton; his stepdaughter Cassie Clark (Brantley Clark); his children, Cayden Clark and Brooks Clark; his stepson Bobby O'Malley; and his sister Learon Katherine Milam of Warsaw. He is also survived by extended family and many dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Johnny Rays Drive In (800 SW Blue Pkwy, Lee's Summit, MO 64063).
