He was predeceased by: his parents, Orba Vanderpool and Martha Vanderpool; his siblings, Wayne Vanderpool, Jess Vanderpool, James Vanderpool, Vivian Tucker, Dorothy Dell, Mary Lorene Howell and Freida McWharter; and his son Kevin Dale Vanderpool.
He is survived by: his children, Dayna McCallum (John) and Byron "Kent" Vanderpool (Lori); and his grandchildren, Nathan McCallum (Jenny Beth), Kristen Parrish (Robert), Garrett Vanderpool (Shelly) and Matthew Vanderpool (Megan). He is also survived by his fifteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Forsyth (10, 000 East State Highway 76, Forsyth, MO 65653). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery (1638 State Hwy 76, Branson, MO 65616).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to First Baptist Church Forsyth Benevolence Fund (P.O. Box 74, Forsyth, MO 65653) or the Missouri Baptist Children's Home (11300 St. Charles Rock Rd, Bridgeton, MO 63044).
