He is survived by : his grandchildren, David Chace Fortney, Alycia C. Huff, Rebecca P. LaZella and William D. Byrn; his wife Katherine; and his stepchildren, Anthony Joyner (Natalie), David Joyner, Gretchen Gillette (Chris), Daniel Joyner and Leah Goering (Danny). He is also survived by 28 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
