David Lee Combs Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Lee Combs of Kirksville, Missouri, who passed away on July 24, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Buchanan and Beulah Viola Combs (Peavler); and his brothers, James Combs Jr., Harold Combs and Jerry Robert Combs.
He is survived by: his wife Vickie Williams; his daughter Leann Ellsworth (Paul); his grandson Malcom Haynes of Festus, MO; and his siblings, Frank Combs of Kirksville, MO, Don Combs of Greentop, MO, Mike Combs, Jane Georgetti (John) of Springfield, MO, Shirley Hines (Randy) and Sharon Sellers (David) of Chugiak, Alaska. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home (1008 W Potter Ave, Kirksville, MO 63501). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of David may be made to his wife Vickie Combs and may be left at or mailed to Travis-Noe Funeral Home, P.O. Box 306, Kirksville, MO 63501.
