He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Jones and Edith Jones (Schillie); his daughter Michelle Carrier (Jones); and his siblings, Evelyn Eitel (Jimmy), Lucille Swisher (Donnie) and Charles Jones (Onie).
He is survived by: his wife Rita Lou Myers; his children, Donna Lou Broadwell (Larry) of Kirksville and Michael Jones (Stephanie) of Kirksville; and his grandchildren, Laura Broadwell of Kirksville, Shafer Jones of Kirksville, Dale Broadwell (Kassie) of Novinger, Austin Carrier (Samantha Williams) of New Bloomfield, Shane Jones of Kirksville and Colton Carrier of New Bloomfield. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Novinger Baseball and Softball Association.
