Duane Lee Chrisman Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Duane Lee Chrisman of Kirksville, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 12, 2025 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Duane Lee Chrisman to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Lee and Mona Chrisman (Stafford); and his sister Sharon Boecker. He is survived by: his wife Jeanetta Mae VanLaningham; his daughters, Nita Jeffries of Kirksville, MO, Martha Chrisman of Kirksville, MO, Janie Weber (Dick) of Kirksville, MO, Glenda Newell of Kirksville, MO and Lyn Phillips (Danny) of Kirksville, MO; his siblings, Aaron Chrisman (Jackie), Bradley Chrisman (Betty), Roger Chrisman, Michael Chrisman (Arlene), Grace Starbuck and Christine Pierce (Eddie); and his grandchildren, Christy Scadden (Sheldon), Russell Jeffries, Kim Wood, Kimberly (Greg Nieters), Loren Wright, Weston Newell, Zak Howard, Haley Phillips and Kiley Phillips. He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Travis Noe Funeral Home (1008 W Potter Ave, Kirksville, MO 63501). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Pallbearers will be Russell Jefferis, Loren Wright, Xander Wright, Weston Newell, Zak Howard, and Kyler Scadden Expressions of sympathy in memory of Duane may be made to the Hazel Creek Cemetery and may be left at or mailed to Travis-Noe Funeral Home, P.O. Box 306, Kirksville, MO 63501.
