He was predeceased by: his parents, Annabel Schneider (Lee) and Andrew Earl Schneider; his brothers, Bobby and Gary; and his brother-in-law Frank Colton.
He is survived by: his wife Ginny (Colton); his children, Julie Henderson (John), Tracy Ockenfels (Mike) of Kirksville and Rob Schneider (Jenn) of Frisco, Texas.; his grandchildren, Andrew Mikolajczak (Lorrin), Aaron Ockenfels (Kelsey), Alex Ockenfels, Becca Schneider and Ben Schneider; his great grandchildren, Jackson, Reed and Cora; his sister-in-law Pennie Schneider (Linda Colton); and his nieces and nephews, Heath Schneider (Brandy), Matthew Colton (John), Carrie Potts (Brian), Cathy Allie (Dave) and Caryn Brewer (Harry).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Kirksville First United Methodist Church (300 E Washington St, Kirksville, MO 63501). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may made to the First United Methodist Church and/or the Adair County Public Library.
