With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gary Edward Lunsford of Kirksville, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 3, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Lunsford and Emily McDonald; his wives, Betty Lunsford and Wanda Lunsford; his sister-in-law Phyllis Lunsford; and his nephew Dale L. Lunsford.
He is survived by: his brother Gene Lunsford of Green City; his nephew Darin (Megan Lunsford); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Brody and Kasey; his nephew Doug (Amanda Lunsford); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Marshall and Madison; his niece Debbie McClure; his great-nieces and great-nephews, MacKenzie Hubbard and Dalton McClure; and his stepsons, Ron Kellison of Kirksville and Rod Kellison.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ruschmeier-Smith Funeral Home (2 W 5th St, Green City, MO 63545). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the VFW Adair Post 2508.
