He was predeceased by: his parents, Carroll Lovell and Gladys Venus Bell (Hatcher); his siblings, Peggy, Kimberly, Bonnie, Roger, Curtis and Darrell; and his niece Theresa Stewart.
He is survived by: his sons, Jared (Leah Bell) and Jason Bell (Katie Locust) of Kirksville, MO; his brother Jerry; his sister-in-law Darlene Bell of Kirksville, MO; his grandchildren, Wyatt (Lauryn), Lane, Rhett, Keagan, Wade, Addie, Jackson and Roni; and his great grandchild Wayne.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 4th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of James may be made to his son, Jason Bell and may be left at or mailed to Travis-Noe Funeral Home, P.O. Box 306, Kirksville, MO 63601.
