He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Sylvara and Olive Ruby Lefler Sylvara (Nee); his stepfather Lester Stewart; his siblings, Leona Sylvara Moore, Betty Sylvara Taylor and Donald "Red" Sylvara; and his stepbrother Jim Stewart.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, John, James "Jimmy" Sylvara, Jaycie Sylvara, Jordan, Jon and Joey Rinaldi; and his great grandchildren, Sophia, Jonah, Sienna and Clara.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kirksville Country Club (1115 Country Club Dr, Kirksville, MO 63501).
