He is survived by : his children, Robert W Blackstad (Pat) of Bellingham, WA, Nancy Leilani Jabara (Jeff) of Wichita, KS, Richard B. Blackstad (Jennifer) of Kirksville, MO and Jayne Evalani Spangler (Shawn) of Bossier City, LA.; his grandchildren, Michael, Dennis Blackstad of Mesa, AZ, Jamie Buer (Eric) of Shawnee, KS, Jeremy Jabara (Lauren) of Pennsylvania, PA and Kristopher Blackstad (Shelby) of Kirksville, MO.; his great grandchildren, Malia Buer, Hallie Buer, Dylan Jabara and Blake Jabara; his nephews, Steven and Joseph Zambito; his niece Laurie Jane Fugate (Zambito) of Wisconsin; and also Blackstad O'hana.
