He is survived by: his wife Carol Smoyer; his children, Angie Buck (John), Todd Christman (May) and Kendall Christman (Barb); his grandchildren, Bailey Christman, Tanner Buck (Brooklynn), Kaelinn Christman, Princess and Vic Estoy; his great grandchild Clara Jean Buck; his adoptive son Chris; and his daughter Lori Drennan.

The family of Robert has requested that there be no flowers and in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Crossing Church Camp.
