It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald C. McClanahan (Kirksville, Missouri), who passed away on September 18, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Marlen Kenneth McClanahan and Olive Elizabeth Perkins McClanahan; and his grandparents, Anna M. (Schwedes), Charles Perkins, Leo and Flossie M. Rigdon McClanahan.
He is survived by : his close friend David "Bud" Bailey; his wife Carolyn Culling Harrison McClanahan; his children, Melinda McClanahan Love (Ronnie), Ronna McClanahan Mullies (Brian), Kenn McClanahan, Angela McClanahan (Angie) and Matthew (Matt); his grandchildren, Nick Love, Will Love, Megan McClanahan, Daniel Mullies (Arika), Emily Mullies, Molly McClanahan, Marlee West, Jaimee West, Zoe West, Mac West, Reid McClanahan and Jane McClanahan; and his sisters, Dorothy McClanahan Tade (Chuck) and Carol McClanahan Grissom. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and dearly loved brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
