It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Elaine (Ayer) Brown of Kirksville, Missouri, who passed away on February 13, 2026, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmet Faye and Ruth Florence Ayer (West); her husband Burl Dean Brown; and her son David Dean Brown. She is survived by: her sons, Dennis Brown (Jeneen) of Kirksville and Dana Brown (Laura) of Kirksville, Missouri; her grandchildren, David "Ryan" Brown (Stephanie) of Lancaster, Schuyler Dean Brown, Dustin Ray Brown of Moravia, Jenny Jeneen Alexander (Nate) of Columbia, Amy Nicole Yocum (Andrew) of Albany and Gentry Nicole Paladino (Anthony) of Nashville; her great grandchildren, Laine, Huck Brown, Rhett, Emery Alexander, Cole, Allison, Raylee Brown, Katie, Rachel and Daniel Yocum; her great great grandchild Prestlyn Brown; and her sister Carmen Weilbrenner (Rex) of Moravia, Iowa..
