He was predeceased by: his parents, David and Mary Smith Sr. (Ancell); and his brothers, David M. Smith Jr. and Mark E. Smith. He is survived by: his wife Mary "Twerps" Smith of Kirksville; his son Troy; his daughter-in-law Mardi Smith of Jefferson City; his granddaughter Mia Smith of Jefferson City; his brother Michael; and his sisters-in-law, Patsy Smith of Galesburg, IL and Connie Smith of Henderson, TN. He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
