Terry John Garlock Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Terry John Garlock (Kirksville, Missouri), who passed away on August 7, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Virl Garlock and Alverna Rosalia Garlock (Peters); his brother Clyde; and his father-in-law James Daniels (Jim). He is survived by: his wife Sheila Daniels; his daughter Emily (Andrew Peterson); his grandchildren, Addyson, Kennedy, Hannalee and Elsie of Webster City, Iowa; his daughter Natalie (Austin Thomas); his grandchildren, Addilyn and Brooks of Bloomfield, Iowa; his daughter Ashley (Brett Stephens) of Chillicothe, Missouri.; his sister Anna Marie Newman; his nephew Jim Newman of Kirksville, Missouri; and his mother-in-law Thelma Daniels (Baugher).
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Travis Noe Funeral Home (1008 W Potter Ave, Kirksville, MO 63501). A celebration of life was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Grace Community Bible Church (1501 E Northtown Rd, Kirksville, MO 63501).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to be made to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mid Missouri or Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Iowa where he and Sheila and two of his daughters benefited from services, and may be left at Travis-Noe Funeral Home or Grace Community Bible Church, or mailed to Travis-Noe Funeral Home, P.O. Box 306, Kirksville, MO 63501.
