It is with sadness that the passing of Wendell Wayne Adams of Kirksville, Missouri is shared. Wendell, born on September 11, 1936, passed away on August 14, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Wendell will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Wendell by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Wendell is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Wendell’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleve Adams and Juanita Adams (Sevits); his wife Shirley Adams (Miller); and his brother Winfred Adams. He is survived by: his son-in-law Charlie; his daughter Pamela Koch (Adams) of Kansas City, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Noah Koch of Atlanta, Nicholas and Brooklyn Koch of Kansas City, Missouri. He is also survived by two nephews and a niece.
