With sadness, we share the passing of Catherine Marie Wheat (Kirkwood, Missouri). Catherine, born on July 1, 1933, passed away on September 15, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Wheat. She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Brown (Frank), Maureen Wheat, Kathleen Eswine (Dave) and Kelly Brown (Patrick); her grandson Michael Brown (Ann) of Indianapolis; her great grandchildren, Ana and Jack; her grandson Daniel Brown (Jillian) of Milwaukee; her great grandchildren, Alex and Amelia; her grandchild Thomas Brown (Melanie) of Seattle; and her great grandchildren, Lily and Nora. She is also survived by her family and by the many friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Bopp Chapel (10610 Manchester Rd, Kirkwood, MO 63122). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church (2618 S Brentwood Blvd, Brentwood, MO 63144).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
