Charles Henry Hoppe Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hulda Hoppe and Alvin Hoppe of St. Louis, MO.; his wife Carolyn Hoppe; and his brother Thomas Hoppe. He is survived by: his children, Andrew Hoppe (Barbara), Christopher Hoppe, Susan Wilson (Thomas) and Allison Knight (Michael); his grandchildren, Lauren Robb (Sean), Abigail Migdal (Joe), Andrew Wilson (Zoe), Michael Wilson (Julia), Natalie Hoppe, Peyton Knight and Caroline Wilson; and his great grandchildren, Emma, Annie Robb, Palmer Migdal, Harvey, Hadley Wilson, Bennett Wilson and Luella Knight.

Visitation was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM and at 12:15 PM at the Central Presbyterian Church (7700 Davis Dr, Clayton, MO 63105). A celebration of life was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery (2900 Sheridan Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Central Presbyterian Church Missions.
