He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Ruder "Mary Beth"; his son William Ruder; his granddaughter Nicole Holtz; his great grandchild Barrett; and his sisters, Dorothy Jostes (late Marvin) and Marian Wenz (late Carl).
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Ruder (Christine), John Ruder, Michael Ruder, Susan DeCosta (Richard), Laura Holtz and Anette Ruder; his grandchildren, Melinda Heck (Kevin), Jaimee Hall (Nick), Amber McGuire (Matt), Kerra Ruder, Madison Holtz (Aaron) and Erica DeCosta (Roman); his great grandchildren, Kaylen, Olivia, Addison, Uilliam, Aubrey, Lennox, Brantley and Graelynn; his sisters, Marjorie Korn (late Richard), Jeanette Long (late Ken) and Loretta Gorrell (Robert); and his siblings-in-law, Gerard R. Welsch and Madlyn Welsch.
