He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, David R. Ida and Alma Ida (Lipps); his wife Patricia E. Fitzgerald (Dougherty); his children, Dan (Stephanie), Jim (Kim), Sean (Erin), Ryan Fitzgerald and Colleen Orick (Ron); his grandchildren, Shannon, Kelli, Bridget, Kaitlin, Michael (Anna), Molly, Allison, Grace, Carson, Hannah, Ashley Fitzgerald, David Orick (McKenna) and Julie Selig (Thomas); and his great grandchildren, Elle, Graham Fitzgerald and Claire Selig.
