With profound sadness, we say goodbye to David L. Valentine (Kirkwood, Missouri), born in Minden, Louisiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. David left this world on October 24, 2025 at the age of 66, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family. As David departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. He was predeceased by: his parents, Merrell Cobb and Isabelle Miller Valentine. He is survived by: his wife Kathie Valentine; his brother Rob Valentine (Debra); his daughters, Meghan Sharp (Reggie) and Tara McMilleon (Blake); and his stepchildren, Adam Stephey (Katie), Brad Stephey and Stephanie Walton. He is also survived by grandchildren; many nephews and nieces, as well as several step-siblings.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bopp Chapel (10610 Manchester Rd, Kirkwood, MO 63122). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
