He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Susan Hanlon; his stepmother Lucy; his brother Christopher Kelleher; and his grandparents, Rich, Dorris Ryan, Edward and Alice Hanlon.
He is survived by: his father Edward A. Hanlon Jr.; his son Edward Nicholas "Nick" Hanlon (Nancy Zemblidge); his siblings, David Hanlon (Lucia), John Kelleher (Mary) and Kathy Hagedorn (John); and his sister-in-law Sheila Kelleher. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pacific Film Archive in Dennis' honor.
