He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Reed (Bill) and Shannon Reed (Klepzig). He is survived by: his wife Cindy Henson (Cynthia); his children, Stephanie Surdyke (Reed), Elicia Bailey (Reed), Christy Lansford, Candice Lansford and Craig Lansford; his grandchildren, Hannah Cottrell (Elijah Macias), Chase Cottrell, Shane Reynolds (Brooklyn Hall), Colin Wilson, Braylen Lansford, Daytin Bruce, Amya Bailey, Cayson Lansford and Brynlee Lansford; his great grandchild Everlee Reynolds; and his siblings, Gale Reed (Bonnie) and Beverly Pelliccio. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to "Make a Wish Foundation" in Gary's honor.
